Canoe Bar
Cruising with the club
Each season WHYC sponsors cruises across Lake Michigan as well as weekend cruises up and down the shoreline. If it is your first time crossing the lake, joining other boats is smart boating.
Educational Seminars
These begin in March and help you brush up on boating skills and expand your knowledge of issues such as weather, knot tying and using your GPS. Different topics are covered each year.
Family Friendly
We are a non-smoking facility. Activities for children are available in throughout our club. Bike clubs, ice cream, kids games in our WHYC courtyard, cardboard boat races and much more.
The Pavilion and BBQ Grills
Members have access to four gas grills for cooking with BBQ tools, sink, refrigerator and microwave available in the Pavilion.

WHYC members you can take advantage of other yacht club facilities around the lake through your membership in WHYC. This also includes yacht clubs you might visit in other parts of the country as you travel.

WHYC Sail Fleet enjoy sail racing, sail cruising as well as Youth Sailing programs
Sunday Breakfasts
From Memorial Day to Labor Day our members sponsor Sunday breakfasts at the clubhouse. Our breakfast often times rival most hotel 5 star resturants.

Our WHYC Great Room with fireplace is ideal for meeting other yacht club members or entertaining your family and friends.
Wireless Internet Access
WHYC members enjoy wireless access available all over the clubhouse.
WHYC Grills and Member Kitchen
WHYC members are encouraged to use the 4 Weber gas grill and use all condiments such as ketchup and mustard. We understand that dragging food from your car to the boat, to the club and back to your boat is a hassle. Because of this, WHYC member have full access to the WHYC member refrigerators and cooking ware. Our house is your house!!!!
