Two weeks, many harbors, and at least a few memorable sunsets!  We'll depart North Point on Sunday 27th morning.  Exact itinerary is a function of wind, waves, weather, and participants' interests, adjusted dynamically throughout the two weeks.  The general idea is to proceed northward on the Wisconsin side to Sheboygan, cross to Pentwater, and then hop up the Michigan shoreline to the Manitou Islands, stopping at Ludington, Portage Lake (Onekama), and Frankfort en route, returning similarly - or maybe crossing to Door County and proceeding southward from there.  It all depends on the sailing conditions.  Some overnight segments could happen if the weather urges that.  Hopefully, we'll keep a good pace northward and be able to anchor out at South Manitou Island for at least one night.  Anchoring is an option at several harbors on the Michigan side.

Power cruisers can go slow with the sailors, join en route, or meet at various harbors.  This could be as simple as a 2-day run to Frankfort and return, or join the sail fleet at two consecutive harbors, then venture farther up the lake independently, and join again at a harbor or two on the return.  The intent is flexibility - and the cruise captain will update the itinerary daily via messaging.

Weather permitting, the segments below a line from Sheboygan to Pentwater will be longer, as those harbors are closer to home and more readily reached for long weekends or single weeks.  Farther north, the segments will be 20ish miles.  We may choose to spend more than one night at any given harbor.

There will be a mix of dining ashore, cooking aboard, dining aboard, and cooking at dockside facilities.  We'll plan this a week or two before he cruise.  A dedicated "laundry day" will be planned midway through the adventure.
